Adult Ministries
Sunday Morning -- Classes begin at 9:30 a.m.
This adult discussion class is currently looking at God’s covenants with mankind through the centuries, and leading up to the “new covenant” that Jesus announced was sealed with His own blood. We are looking at the nature of these committed relationships, by looking at the faithful people, David, Josiah, Daniel, and Nehemiah who pledged themselves in relationship to God. Their life experiences can teach us much in how we can live faithfully in our day too.
The Standard Lesson Plan is a five-year approach to studying all of the Bible through direct Bible Study. Participants actively discuss the message of Scripture and share ideas on making its teachings practical and applicable to life in our time and culture.
Tucked away in the pages of the Old Testament is a collection of Psalms called the “Songs of Ascents.” These songs, which functioned as a kind of hymnbook for pilgrims, are recorded in Psalms 120-134. With the help of Eugene Peterson’s book, “A Long Obedience in the Same Direction” our class is studying themes for faithful discipleship found in these 15 psalms.
Small Group Ministry -- These groups meet in various homes during the week.
